Tres Fronteiros: One Square Mile of Brazil

Tres Fronteiros is located deep in Amazonia, far away from the bustling cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

It is made up of three settlements in three different countries: Tabatinga in Brazil, Leticia across the water in Colombia, and the small Peruvian town of Santa Rosa.

Surrounded by the vast Amazon rainforest, the towns depend on the river and airports to connect them to the wider world. Leo Johnson reports.
