Saatchi: Thatcher's 'eyes blazed'

The former Conservative Party Chairman, Lord Saatchi, was an advertising guru who in 1979 helped define, and sell, what Margaret Thatcher's Conservatives stood for.

He is currently chair of the Centre for Policy Studies, a think-tank founded by the former British prime minister in the 1970s. He remained close to Lady Thatcher until her death on Monday.

Lord Saatchi told HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur that Lady Thatcher - a pioneer of free market economics - would have found the recent banking crisis and the market dominance of a handful of financial companies "completely unacceptable".
