Aboard a Pakistan flood relief flight

A United Nations special envoy will arrive in Pakistan to assess what needs to be done and the government to mobilise international support after the worst monsoon flooding for eighty years.

Pakistan's military is rejecting charges that it has been slow to respond, and insists aid is now reaching communities that had been cut off.

More than three million people have been affected by the disaster and at least 1,500 have been killed.

Orla Guerin has been given exclusive access to a Pakistani airforce relief mission.
