Pakistan flooding forces fresh exodus in the south

Dozens more towns and villages in the south of Pakistan have been submerged by the swollen Indus River, adding to the misery in the already stricken nation.

The UN says it has now raised about 70% of the $460m it called for in its emergency appeal to help the millions who have lost everything in catastrophic flooding across large parts of the country.
