Pakistan diplomat vows to catch Shahbaz Bhatti killers

The assassination of Pakistani minister Shahbaz Bhatti is a "blow to all those who believe in high values of freedom", says Wajid Shamsul Hasan, high commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom.

Mr Bhatti, Pakistan's only Christian cabinet minister, was murdered by gunmen in the capital Islamabad, after receiving death threats for urging reform to blasphemy laws.

Mr Hasan said: "The people of Pakistan will not surrender. We will fight back. We will not let these terrorists go scot-free."
