Japan remembers moment tsunami struck

People in Japan have fallen silent to mark the moment that an earthquake and tsunami hit the north-east of the country a month ago.

Almost 13,000 people are known to have died and 15,000 more are missing.

The damage is thought to have cost $300bn, making it the most expensive natural disaster in history.

The BBC's Roland Buerk report from Otsuchi, one of the towns in north-east Japan that was devastated.
