Bin Laden's photos 'not to be used as propaganda tool'
US President Barack Obama has been giving his reasons for not publishing photographs of Osama Bin Laden's body.
In an interview with American television he said it was important that what he called "very graphic images" were not allowed to be used as a propaganda tool or as trophies.
But he said DNA tests had proved conclusively that the body was that of the Al Qaeda leader.
The BBC's World Affairs correspondent Mike Wooldridge reports.
