Unicef voices fears for Pakistan flood children

Two and half million children have been affected by severe flooding that has swamped hundreds of villages in Pakistan's Sindh province, a Unicef representative has told the BBC.

Dan Rohrmann said that the United Nations Children's Fund was working to provide clean water and vaccinations but that the situation was "very bad" as this year's rains were heavier than expected.

The international aid agency Oxfam has also launched an emergency aid response to help flood victims.
