Toddler survives metal hook in brain
A 17-month-old boy in the US has made a complete recovery after getting a metal hook embedded in his skull in a fall.
X-rays show the metal hook lodged at least 5cm in Jessiah Jackson's head.
Neurosurgeon Anand Germanwala, who operated on the toddler, said he feared the operation to remove the hook could cause serious blood loss, but the little boy seems to have suffered no serious after-effects.
