Gulf oil spill: 'Beginning of the end' of leak

The White House has hailed "the beginning of the end" of the Gulf of Mexico oil leak, but has warned there is still a lot of work to be done.

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said the US government's commitment to "those communiites in and along the Gulf Coast remains the same" as the focus shifts to the clean-up operation.
