US and Russia conduct hijack plane exercise

The Russian Air Force and the North American Aerospace Defense Command conduct their first joint air defence exercise - a simulated terrorist hijacking.

Russian, Canadian and US military worked in a simulated exercise to track and intercept an airliner that had been hijacked by terrorists as the plane flew across US, Canadian and Russian airspace.

Colonel Todd Balfe of the Canadian military explained more.
