Companies accused of cost-cutting in oil spill report

The oil giant BP has been severely criticised in a major report into the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico last year.

A report commissioned by President Obama has blamed bad management and cost cutting.

It also found two other companies, Halliburton and Transocean to be at fault.

BP says it has already introduced significant changes to improve safety.
