US mourns Arizona shooting victims

US President Barack Obama has led a nationwide tribute to the six people killed in a shooting in Arizona which left a congresswoman seriously wounded.

Representative Gabrielle Giffords remains in a critical condition but doctors say the swelling in her brain has stabilised.

The 22-year-old man charged in connection with the attack has appeared in court.
