Libya: US to 'keep up pressure' on Gaddafi

US President Barack Obama has said the US will ''keep on applying pressure'' on Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi to step down from power.

The president told Diane Sawyer of ABC News he did not rule out supplying weapons to opposition fighters in Libya.

He also called on the leadership around Col Gaddafi to make it clear that he had to go.
