A new study in America shows congregations are each doing work worth millions of dollars, especially through charity projects.

Reverend Dr Wilson Goode visits prisons in Philadelphia and appeals to inmates to sign up their children for his mentoring scheme.

He later matches the children to a mentor from a local congregation.
