Tornado filmed destroying truck as it sweeps US Mid-West

Footage has emerged of a tornado destroying a truck as it swept through the US Mid-West.

A series of tornadoes caused devastation, with the state of Missouri worst hit.

The city of Joplin has announced the death toll has risen to 132 and the state authorities are trying to account for dozens of people who are still missing.

The driver of the lorry survived with minor injuries.
