Congressman Weiner resigns over lewd photos sent online

US Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner has announced he will resign at a raucous press conference in New York.

His decision comes after he first denied and then admitted sending sexually explicit messages and lewd photos of himself to multiple women online.
