Strauss-Kahn accuser 'denied justice'

New York prosecutors have asked for a sexual assault case against former IMF director Dominique Strauss-Kahn to be dismissed.

The case - based on an accusation by hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo - had crumbled in recent weeks over questions about her credibility and motives.

Speaking after a meeting with prosecutors, Ms Diallo's lawyer, Kenneth Thompson, said that she had been denied justice.
