Jackson trial: 'Misplaced trust cost singer his life'
The chief prosecutor at the trial of Dr Conrad Murray, the personal physician of pop star Michael Jackson, has told a court about the singer's "misplaced trust" in his doctor.
In his opening statement, David Walgren said that Michael Jackson ''trusted his life to the medical skills of Conrad Murray''.
He added: "That misplaced trust, in the hands of Conrad Murray, cost Michael Jackson his life."
Dr Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter and the trial continues.
