US imposes sanctions on Haqqani linked groups
The United States has announced new financial sanctions on individuals it says are linked to the most dangerous terrorist organisations in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The five named people are accused of backing groups including the Haqqani network, which the US accuses of being behind an attack on the US embassy in Kabul earlier this month.
