Wall Street protesters clean up camp to avert eviction
Anti-Wall Street demonstrators have vowed to stay put in their New York protest park, despite plans by its owners to clean it on Friday morning.
Occupy Wall Street says the plan to clean Zuccotti Park at 0700 local time (1100GMT) is an attempt at eviction.
Protester Lauren Digioia said that the group had organised a sanitation committee to keep the site clean and tidy.
Hundreds of people have camped in the park for four weeks, blaming Wall Street for the economic troubles that have afflicted ordinary Americans.
