Former President Bush's presidential portrait unveiled

Former President George W Bush has returned to his former home, the White House, for the unveiling of his official presidential portrait.

Mr Bush said he was proud that his inclusion gave the presidential portraits an interesting symmetry.

"It starts and ends with a George W," Mr Bush joked, referring to the portrait of the first US president George Washington.

In his remarks, Mr Bush also thanked his father, George H W Bush, the 41st president, who then received a standing ovation.
