Mitt Romney: 'Barack Obama has fallen short'
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has told supporters in the battleground state of Wisconsin that President Barack Obama made many promises but has fallen short and failed to focus his attention on creating jobs.
On Friday, the US Department of Labor said 171,000 people had been hired in the private sector in the month of October and the unemployment rate rose slightly to 7.9%.
The presidential election is just four days away and many voters say the state of the economy is their top priority.
Mr Romney is involved in a tight race with the president, who praised the figures in the jobs report, saying they showed the highest level of job growth of the past eight months.
