On board the US Navy ship leading the 'Pacific pivot'

As the US draws down its troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, its new focus is the Pacific, with more than half of the US Navy's assets to be deployed there by 2020.

But with China's increasing clout and the need to protect and promote trade in Asia, the "Pacific pivot" is about more than America upping its military presence in the region.
