As cardinals in Rome discuss the future of the church, high on their list of priorities is surely tackling the ongoing fallout from the clergy sexual abuse crisis.

It first erupted a decade ago in the United States, where the legacy of cover-ups by the hierarchy has cost the church dear - in dollars and reputation.

Jane Little visited the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills - part of the sprawling Los Angeles diocese with five million Catholics - to hear what the congregation wants from the next pope.
