Hot tempers and dance parties outside US Supreme Court

As US Supreme Court justices heard arguments on whether California may ban same-sex nuptials, the crowds outside made their views heard.

Groups debated both sides of the issue - invoking civil rights, religion, and America's founding fathers.

Following Tuesday's arguments, the court could uphold California's 2008 ban on same-sex marriage, narrowly overturn it, or invalidate all state same-sex marriage bans in the US.
