Boy, six, dies after US shooting accident

A six-year-old boy in the US has died after apparently being shot by his four-year-old playmate in what is thought to be a tragic accident.

The New Jersey incident comes amid the continuing debate over gun control. The Senate will hold a crucial vote on Thursday on whether to debate proposals for new restrictions.
