Plane crashes into Virginia living room
Two people have been taken to a hospital after a two-seater plane crashed into the living room of a third-story apartment outside Washington, police say.
Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the plane crashed into the roof of the building in Herndon, Virginia, early on Friday.
The plane was said to be heading to Manassas from Philadelphia, but switched course to Dulles when it ran low on fuel.
The pilot was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
