Will Zimmerman trial open up racial wounds?

Residents of Sanford, Florida are tense about the trial of George Zimmerman, the neighbourhood watchman who shot dead unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, says the BBC's Mark Mardell.

The police took weeks to arrest him, and accepted the watchman's story that he thought the teenager was acting suspiciously, and had attacked him.

Many are more than a little worried that the strains will get greater as the trial goes on. They fear that whichever way the verdict goes, it will make a lot of people very angry.
