Gay marriage rulings: 'This has changed my life'

In two rulings, the US Supreme Court quashes a law denying federal benefits to gay couples and clears the way for same-sex unions in California.

Supporters in front of the court building in Washington, DC talked to the BBC.

"I've been in a relationship for five years and we got married three months ago. This changed my life, it is history," one observer told the BBC.
