Zimmerman trial: Trayvon Martin supporters protest against 'not guilty' verdict

Supporters of Trayvon Martin's family have gathered in Sandford, Florida to protest at the clearing of his killer, George Zimmerman.

The 17-year-old was shot by Zimmerman, a neighbourhood watchman, in 2012. His lawyers argued he acted in self-defence and with justifiable use of deadly force.

He was acquitted of all charges on Saturday.

Those protesting chanted "The system has failed" and called for further demonstrations.
