Ariel Castro to spend life in prison under plea deal

The man who held three women captive at his home in Cleveland, Ohio, for 10 years will serve a life sentence with no chance of parole after pleading guilty.

Ariel Castro, who abducted Michelle Knight, 32, Amanda Berry, 27, and Gina DeJesus, 23, from the streets around his home between 2002-04, agreed to the plea as part of a deal to avoid the death penalty.
