'I knew naval installation gunman Aaron Alexis'
Journalist Bud Kennedy has spoken to the BBC about how he knew the man who died after killing 12 people at a naval installation in Washington DC.
Kennedy, who writes a restaurant column, described Aaron Alexis as "serious" but "popular" when he worked at a Thai restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas.
Alexis, 34, died in a gun battle with police during the rampage at Washington Navy Yard.
