Syria foreign minister: 'Interference slowing Syria peace'
The Syrian foreign minister Walid Muallem has cast doubt on hopes for a breakthrough at a planned Syria peace conference.
In a BBC interview in New York, where Mr Muallem was addressing the UN General Assembly, he said the so-called Geneva Two conference could not work while Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey support the armed rebels.
He spoke to the BBC's Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen.
