Michael Jackson verdict: Jurors speak after AEG cleared

Jurors in Los Angeles have been explaining their verdict after clearing concert promoters AEG Live of negligence in hiring the doctor who killed Michael Jackson in 2009.

The six men and six women heard five months of evidence and deliberated for four days before reaching their verdict.

They were asked to answer five key yes-no questions seeking to establish whether AEG was responsible for Murray's hiring in the first place and concerning his competence for the job.

The jury decided that AEG Live did hire Dr Murray but found that he was not unfit or incompetent for the job.
