Michael Jackson: AEG Live 'never considered settling'

An attorney representing AEG Live has said that his clients never considered settling the wrongful death lawsuit brought against them by the family of Michael Jackson.

The concert promoters were cleared by a jury in Los Angeles, who found that AEG Live had hired Conrad Murray, but found that the doctor was not unfit or incompetent for the job.

Speaking after the verdict, Marvin Putnam accused Jackson's family of having tried to cash in on the tragedy.
