US storms: Heavy snowfall hits north-eastern states
A state of emergency is in place in New York and New Jersey after a winter storm blanketed parts of the north-east of the US and Canada with up to 2ft (61cm) of snow.
The storm has been blamed for 11 deaths and forced the cancellation of more than 4,000 flights since Wednesday.
Some coastal areas were also thought to be at risk of flooding.
