Parts of the US are hit by worst rain in decades
One person has been confirmed dead after heavy flooding in parts of Florida and southern Alabama.
Two drivers escaped without injury despite their vehicles falling 25 ft when portions of a scenic highway in Pensacola collapsed.
Wednesday was the single rainiest day ever recorded there.
It is the latest in an extreme weather system across the region that has killed at least 34 people in the past week.
