US fire engine narrowly avoids blazing bus

A fire crew has had a narrow escape after a blazing school bus started rolling towards its truck in Minnesota, US.

Earlier, the driver of the empty bus pulled over on the Maplewood highway after smelling smoke. He escaped unharmed.

A bystander who filmed the incident moved back from the scene when he realised the bus was on the move.

Minnesota State Patrol says the fire may have started in the engine compartment.
