Convoy brings 3,000 Chilean fans to World Cup
Carlos Gaete and his friends just wanted to drive a few cars from Chile to Brazil to attend the World Cup, and they posted the idea on Facebook.
The Facebook event caught on and a few months later the convoy left Santiago with 3,000 people and 800 cars.
Knocking out defending champion Spain was just the first of many monumental games for this Chilean squad, Gaete said.
For the BBC's Real Fans series, Franz Strasser went to meet Gaete and thousands of Chilean supporters on a camping ground outside Rio.
