California wildfires: People evacuated and buildings destroyed
Two wildfires in California have forced over a thousand people to evacuate their homes, including the town of Weed.
Flames fanned by strong winds destroyed or damaged 100 houses in the town, as well as the Holy Family Catholic Church.
The church's music minister, Maureen Campbell, also lost her home in the fire.
The fire started near Yosemite National Park, and quickly burned at least 320 acres (130ha).
