US plot: 'Disaffected person who jumps on a cause'
FBI agents in Ohio have arrested and charged a man with plotting to attack the Capitol building in Washington.
Court documents name the man as Christopher Cornell and say he was detained after trying to buy 600 rounds of ammunition and an assault rifle.
FBI officials say he intended to detonate pipe bombs in the Capitol and shoot people working there.
David Ignatius from the Washington Post told the BBC: "This is a disaffected person who jumps on a cause that he is passionate about."
