'Most intelligent fugitive' in US court over shipwreck treasure
A fugitive who allegedly vanished with the proceeds of what is believed to be the largest haul of treasure in US history has appeared before a court in Florida.
Tommy Thomson had been asked by investors to recover gold bars and coins from a shipwreck.
But instead of sharing the money from its sale, he went into hiding.
He was finally tracked down and taken into custody earlier this week.
