How did prisoners escape from US jail?

A manhunt is under way in the United States after two convicted murderers escaped from a maximum security prison in New York at the weekend. Richard Matt and David Sweat used power tools to make their escape.

A reward of $100,000 (£65,000) is being offered by police for any information.

But how did they do it?
