What does the world think of China v US?

The United States and China currently have the world's biggest economies but which country does the rest of the world think will dominate in the future?

A global survey by the Pew Research Center found that the US has bounced back in many people's minds this year - it had lost ground to China during the recession.

Of the 40 countries polled, a majority or plurality in 30 of them view the US as the world's biggest economic power. But many also told Pew they believe China will eventually replace the US as the world's top superpower.

The BBC's David Botti looks at the numbers. And you can find out more about what Pew's survey found about attitudes towards US foreign policy and President Obama here.
