Obama on The Daily Show: 'I can't believe you're leaving before me'

President Obama has made his final appearance on Comedy Central's The Daily Show hosted by Jon Stewart who retires on 6 August.

Introducing the president, Jon Stewart joked that the rapturous applause was for him not the president.

President Obama, who leaves office in 2017, joked: "I can't believe you're leaving before me."
