Las Vegas plane fire: Flames, black smoke and a Mayday

There were dramatic scenes on a Las Vegas runway when a British Airways airliner bound for London burst into flames before take off.

Aviation officials have started an investigation into why the left engine of the Boeing 777-200 caught fire.
