Meet the world's first litter of IVF puppies

US scientists have unveiled the first litter of puppies born through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF).

The seven puppies include five beagles and two beagle-cocker spaniel mixes. Their birth in July was announced on Wednesday by researchers at Cornell University in New York State and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC.
