Iraqi ambassador to US: Ramadi liberation 'a few days away'
Iraq's ambassador to the United States says that his country's troops and its allies will retake the city of Ramadi from Islamic State forces in the coming days.
Lukman Faily tells the BBC's Katty Kay that retaking the city would be a "morale booster", and would show the world that Iraqis are regaining control of their country.
Security officials say government forces have taken over several districts close to the centre of the city where a few hundred IS fighters are believed to remain.
Ramadi fell to IS in May in an embarrassing defeat for the Iraqi army.
