Ted Cruz: 'A victory for the grassroots'

Republican Ted Cruz has declared his victory in the Iowa caucuses as "a victory for the grass roots".

Mr Cruz beat his closest rivals, including Donald Trump, in the first vote to be his party's nominee in December's presidential election.
